Welcome To ChronoSoft!

Thank-you for being patient while i ready my site. It has been a while since i have gotten to the point of being ready to get all of this set up. As you have noticed, there are a few changes in the site already, as i have tried to make it as interesting and useful as possible without getting into the dredge of every other site. You may also have noticed that the add for the Google group is gone. This is mainly because (and i am assuming that some of you have been following the journal link from the first page,) the issues i have been going through this year have not been things that other people want to talk about. My guess is that since there is no sex, drugs, violence or porn involved, the cyberspace public just isn't interested. What little information i have added below is meager at best, but may be of use to some of you:

ChronoSoft, as an entry-level, but experienced, multi-platform development company, has been through several Operating Systems, and i do software in Windows and several UNIX/POSIX systems. In our experience, we have been through a total of three (3) OS's thoroughly, and here are our results:

Linux- RedHat/SuSe: Okay...but there are several kernel flaws . We wouldn't advise this OS.
QNX-RTP/RTOS Sucks. Really. It just plain sucks. It is neither ANSI nor POSIX compliant, despite what the CANADIAN-based company says. All lies. The only benefit to this OS is that it is easy to install, and is embedded in a Windows partition. That's about it.
FreeBSD / NetBSD Both of these are VERY EXCELLENT platforms to work from, and use as servers; in fact, Hotmail used a FreeBSD server for years before MS developed its Windows 2003 Server. i personally use FreeBSD, and i have shell access to a NetBSD system, and though they are not the easiest systems to install, they are well worth it once you get the hang of UNIX-standard operations. i have found FreeBSD to be extremely flexible and reliable. These two are our recommendations.
